Arrived in Riga!!

Vyv met up with Alex at the Old Town Hostel in Riga on Thursday afternoon!! Travel for both was tedious but uneventful; Vyv on a crowded flight full of irritable young children and Alex on a ferry with a drunk and his dog! First glimpes of Riga are impressive; cobblestone streets, very cool gargoyles and old buildings, lots of flowers and a river meandering through town. Eye shades were necessary at 10:30pm last night. Temps cool but pleasant.
